To quote the King of Siam, "News? Yes there are news." At least, in a vague sort of way.

Tonight, I ran into John Molo in Colonial Liquor here in Kentfield (I was buying a paper). Anyway, it is always a pleasure to see him. He said he "saw our Man earlier this week in Connecticut -- David," a comment which lead me to mention that some fans have emailed me to ask what is up with the Nelson Band. John said they are actually talking about some early fall shows.

And on the more immediate horizon, Mr. Molo is up here (at Casa Sless-Barry) for the evening before they (he, Kimmock, Melvin, etc.) head north for a private party gig in Mendocino. He said they were also playing Sunday at the Forestville Club.

So stay tuned, you heard it here first (maybe).
