Good-Bye, Laura

Whoa! I just finished watching today's episode of General Hospital. Luke, Nicholas, Lucky and Lulu all said good-bye to Laura as she slipped back into a catatonic state. I bawled my eyes out and I think Anthony Geary deserves yet another Emmy award for this one, as does the little girl who plays Lulu (and whose name, I am ashamed to say, I do not know). Anyway, I cried so much I got yet another bloody nose. Been a long time since I cried like that - maybe I will finally be able to sleep tonight instead of the two hours per night I have been getting since early last week. Argh!

I hope having Laura slip back into madness instead of killing her off means that at some point, they will discover a cure and bring her back. I love Genie Francis and Tony Geary together.

I am glad to know that I wasn't the only one sobbing! Was that sad or what? After that show I went to see the movie Babel with my sister......glad we were in one of those living room theaters where you can sip a glass of wine. Man....what a day of emotions over cinematic experiences. NOW I am ready for some "real life" happy entertainment. Bring on the New Riders! I am counting down the hours. Have a Happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy your visit with the son. We have an 8 year old. Yes, geriatric parents.......but, he keeps us forever young. And he loves DNB...could it be because we were dragging him to shows before birth? Anyway, don't tell him that I am giving his ticket away to NRPS. It is a school night after all. Stay well. Sheree

Just got word that Marmaduke WILL be in Portland and thus, so will I. Somehow, some way... we WILL meet! So you should easily find a taker for your ticket!

Yippee! I was hoping that he was being referred to in the latest news section of the NRPS site. I forget that they have that really cool place now. Good!...maybe I can get Marmaduke to sign my Panama Red Album that hangs proudly on our wall.I wouldn't want to bug him, but that would be really special.I remembered to take it to Grants Pass last spring. Who would have thought when I bought it at the Rexall Drug store in John Day all those years ago?!? Happy Trails! I look forward to meeting you in person if it works out. Wow! This is going to be so much fun. If you know of someone who needs/wants the ticket just let me know! I love giving miracle tickets. Wish I had more to give. I agree Tony and Genie BOTH deserve emmys.....those episodes got me hooked on GH again! And Luke standing outside the room....oh, my heart was bleeding! S
