Literature Festival and Live Jazz @ Bird Beckett (Glen Park)

In association with the Berlin International Literature Festival, Bird & Beckett presents a reading in tribute to the late Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish with poets Neeli Cherkovski, Sharon Doubiago, Agneta Falk, Jack Hirschman, Nina Serrano and Leonore Weiss (1pm). At 2:45 pm is wordWind Chorus performs poetry with music in tribute to the late poet Reginald Lockett. At 4:30pm is which way west?, a weekly concert series, presents live jazz with The Georges Lamman Ensemble in a concert of pan-Arabic music.
