Barack The Waffler

Looks as if the Palin/McCain ticket is not the only group who would attempt to overturn Roe V Wade. THINK before you VOTE for any of these clowns.

It's a completely typical piece, isn't it? Obama manages to not give anything resembling a straight answer, and Biden does. I wonder if Senators McCaskill and Klobuchar were fanning Obama with palm fronds as he answered...?

What's infuriating is that that whackjob Palin's nomination is entirely the doing of Cassius Kennedy, Brutus Reid and Iago Dean. Had they not refused to defend the woman running for president from their own party, the GOP would never have seen that hole to be filled.

I'd pay ten shiny bright American dollars to see ANYONE in the Dem power structure take ANY responsibility for it. They're just lucky McCain is as stupid as he is, and opted to try and fill the wrong hole. Said it before, I'll say it again: had he tried to get the disaffected moderate womens' vote and picked Olympia Snowe as his running mate, this election would be too close to call.

To paraphrase the movie The Sixth Sense: "I see stupid people. Make them go away."

The scariest thing is that the democratic party does not accept responsbility for the current dead heat in the race for president. It is terrifying that Palin and McCain could conceivably WIN but it is equally scary to have someone with no courage in the white house and I believe Obama is a wimp. If the democrats do not win in November it is a situation of their own making, not of the people who are choosing to vote their consciences. I fell for that "it's your fault we didn't win in 2000" argument before (and I voted for Gore) but I will not fall for that a second time. McCain only says that we could be in Iraq for 100 years, he doesn't say that he wants that or that it is a done deal. The democrats, on the other hand, want out of Iraq (as do I) but their expectations for withdrawal are unrealistic and their emphasized need to step up the situation in Afghanistan appalls me. Ferlinghetti for president. Or anti president.
