Joe New and the Crow Hoppers

I went to the Fairfax Street Fair yesterday to see Pat Campbell's latest band, Joe New and the Crowhoppers. They are also playing today at Rancho Nicasio at 4 PM and a few additional shows later this week. If you get the chance, go see them. The band includes Pat Campbell on bass, Chris Goddard on lead guitar, Autie DeLone on keyboards, Stu Schechter on drums and of course, Joe New on lead vocals and guitar. I have known Pat since he was in the Good Ol' Boys with David Nelson and Frank Wakefield back in the early 1970s, I have known Chris even longer (we were the only two new sophomores at Redwood High School and suffered through orientation together - he was the first person to ever tell me I was hip - hey Chris, it is all YOUR fault...), and Autie and Leslie Delone and me and Bob McFee got married back to back at the San Rafael Civic Center... with most of the Moonlighters in tow.
