I am probably going to get reamed over the coals for stating a possibly unpopular opinion about this gay marriage proposition but I feel I have to speak out. First of all, I am completely FOR marriage between two people, of any gender, if that is their choice. However, it seems to me that the people of California (however wrong they may be) have made their opinions known, over and over. Will that change with badgering? Probably not.
This whole thing sort of reminds me of my sister when she was small - she would ask my parents for something, would be told NO, and would badger them over and over with "Say yes or no, say yes or no" when what she really meant was "say YES."

I just read this to Greg and Patti and they loved it. What I want to know is, did your sister ever get your parents to change their minds and say yes?
