Sunday night's benefit for Bill Laymon went off without a hitch, from the opening act featuring Bill Laymon and Pat Nevins to Lorin Rowan's Rattlebox (with Barry Sless and Mookie Siegel sitting in) to an appearance by the five original members of the David Nelson Band, performing as "Bill Laymon and Friends" and ending with "David Nelson and Friends," whom I have been told by David will start using the name "The David Nelson Band" in official capacity, once again.
I really enjoyed seeing original drummer Arthur Steinhorn.
As for Bill, please check the Nelson site regularly for updates on the guitar auction.
