Have you ever Googled your own name?

I did, and look what I found, from 2003:

It was earlier this year, and I tried to "get a small crew up for that"
show at the Powerhouse. As the doors opened, there were 4 or 5 of us rmgd'ers... and when we walked in... we were the only ones in the place.

IOW, it would be relatively easy to have an rmgd
party/get-together at a David Nelson show ;-)

And, to think, before the night was half-over, the band would know each and every rmgd'er by first name.

Joe

PS - What a trip! I actually viewed this thread from Google's Group
archives, and saw this grouped "David Nelson Band" thread going back to 1996, when Michelle McFee first started raving about 'em here. And, here we are, 7 years later, and she's still raving about 'em. Kind of amusing, considering that, quite a few years after those initial posts, she was the first DNB fanatic I ever connected with in 'the real world.'

Then there is this message, from RATM, which also manages to drag the name of one Mookie Siegel through the mud on the Broadway newsgroup, not to mention referring to somebody other than the more recently self-proclaimed "Mr. Wonderful" (you know who you are, I am not going to say it out loud and embarrass either one of us) as "Mr. Wonderful" (apparently, I have always been fond of that phrase) --

Excuse me, but if you don' want to read about Mr. Wonderful, you can choose not to select the posts that contain his name. :)

>>>With all due respect....

And just what does the aforementioned respect entail? Are you jealous of Mr. R.? or just envious of the way he looks in his leather pants? Geez, I can't put anything on ANY of these newsgroups without SOMEBODY getting bent out of shape! Are you related to those people over on rec.music.gdead who are sick of hearing about "the famous" Mookie Siegel? Give it up! Leave me to my fantasies!

Yours for a Bretter world!
Michelle McFee
P.S. Have you SEEN Mr. R. in his leather pants? (they're a tad baggy but then again, he has to dance and we wouldn't want them to split during one of those hot scenes in the brothel -- or would we? )

Sorry, Tricia, that is San Rafael Joe. I do wonder whatever happened to Joe from Arcata and also, Julie and Anthony Strait. And yes, a virtual BB reunion sounds like a great idea.

BTW, I am off to work now - I have to stop at Federal Express to pick up a box for the party favors I am sending to Johnny's party (via ToasTy). I got extras for you and Brad and will mail them this week, that way, on Sunday, we can all pretend we are at the party of the millenium!!!

We met Anthony & Julie last year in Grants Pass....I think they broke up. I believe someone told me that, but for the life of me I can't remember who...maybe Skyspirit? I remember reading the DNB board long before I was brave enough to post (and ya all didn't think we had computers in Oregon ;)Sheree

I hope those rumors aboutJulie and Anthony are not true, they are the nicest people! She made me the most gorgeous beaded DNB medallion (the celtic knot logo that David designed) - I actually wore it to the DNPH show at the Iron Springs and got a lot of compliments on it. Oh, that is such sad news if it is true. J and A, if you are out there, write to me. I miss you both!

I remember San Rafael Joe too, there are lots of folks from over the years that posted pretty regularly. Too bad if that rumour is true about anthony and julie, I wish them well. I need to get my little package mailed too. are you sending it to the venue? I miss everybody! wish we were going to sparky's party!!!

I did get the package fedexed out to the hotel, hold for ToasTy's arrival per his instructions. I put a little something in there for Mrs. Sparky, too... I hope they all like the party favors... at least THESE do not make noise (but they are SOOOOOOOOOO cool!).
